Show Season Is in Full Swing

Sometimes you wonder where sayings come from and then others make perfect sense.  I think the phrase  “In Full Swing”  comes from feeling like you’re going around and around; never stopping.  We’ve been feeling that way lately and we love it, so really its a positive thing. Its 2 weeks since our last show and a month since the epic Zombie Knitpocalypse and 3 months since our first show of the season in Kansas City: The All Missouri Spin-In.

So enough rambling about how time flies!  We’ve got some pics from the shows and we want to take extra time to tell you how much it means to us to have you come to stop by say hi, hug us and share!

So first at the end of April we had the All Missouri Spin-In in Kansas City, Missouri.  It was cold, and wet and pouring down buckets of rain all day, but we had so many lovely people come by and show and visit with us!  Including Jenifer(Jeni0821 on Instagram) who won our Instagram contest not too long before this and found the perfect name for this beautiful green gradient below:  Hosta La Vista, Baby!  I can’t believe we didn’t get a picture of you with it while you were there!  Next time for sure!

I don’t know why but we just didn’t get too many pics so on to Zombie Knitpocalypse in Rochester, Minnesota!  We were so excited to have Megan and Amy choose us to vend this year and everything worked out for us to come so Thursday night we packed the vehicles and on Friday morning we hit the road and had our good friend Carol Moncado there to help us!

Of course we had to stop at Chick-fil-A for lunch! This one was in Liberty, Missouri.

We got in too late to say hello Friday night, so we crashed in the hotel and finished a few last minute things making sure we were ready. We were up way to early, and thankfully Carol had us covered with a trip to Starbucks while we got started at 6:30 am setting up our booth! We have never been so warmly welcomed by such an amazing group of fiber artists!  When the market finally opened there wasn’t one shopper in there who wasn’t thrilled to be there and just so excited to say hello, shop and visit with us!  Thank you all so much!  We hope we get to make this trip again and spend more time with everyone!  Here are just a couple of photos of some faces that were just so much fun!  We’re sorry so many times we were having too much fun and we forgot photos!  Too many others are missing! 🙂

On our way home Sunday we had to stop and try the famous Pannekoeken!  You hear about this as much as you do the event and now we know why!  If you’ve never had one they are somewhere between a crepe and a pancake and the ones we had were stuffed with apples and raisins and pecans!  Sooooo good!  We could go on and on!  🙂  So that we don’t here is a picture!ZK 2017 Trip 3

Just 2 weeks ago we were at Fiber U, in Lebanon, Missouri.  It’s a nice local show that we never miss!  We love to see everyone and catch up with folks in the area we only see at this show.

And now we’re back at it prepping for our next show and oh my word the new things coming you’re way!!  We’re a bit ecstatic to share so many new things!

We’re moving into our new dye studio and sampling and getting ready to dye all the new things!  Stay tuned for teasers, samples and lots of shop updates!

A quick note:  Our next show is Fiber Daze at the Marc Center, in Mount Vernon, Missouri on September 15-16, 2017!  We hope you’ll join us!

Until next time (we hope that it’s sooner than later)

Christa, Ester and Ginger
